Altcoin trading volume on Binance has surged to 78%, signaling growing confidence in a potential altcoin bull market in 2025, according to CryptoQuant analyst Burakkesmeci.
In a January report, Burakkesmeci noted that Binance’s altcoin trading dominance rose from 50.8% in May 2024 to 77.83% by January 2025, reflecting increasing retail interest. “The consistent growth in altcoin trading volume on Binance reinforces confidence in the potential for an altcoin bull market in 2025,” the analyst said.
Despite this optimism, CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index remains at 46 out of 100, favoring a “Bitcoin Season.” However, analysts believe the steady rise in altcoin dominance on Binance could drive strong momentum for the market in the months ahead.
